SPES Undergrounds was founded by AJ "PAPED" E. Alejo (Producer, Artists, IT) in 2023. Initially conceived as a clothing brand, the vision for SPES transformed when its founder accepted an opportunity abroad. This shift inspired a strategic pivot to a model that could be built remotely yet remain deeply connected to creativity. Recognizing a greater need to support artists directly, AJ channeled the original ethos of SPES into a new venture: a record label dedicated to nurturing musical talent from the ground up. Thus, SPES evolved from a concept in apparel into a mission—to build a remote-first, artist-centric incubator for the most authentic voices in the underground.
